Agilysys Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

I went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first was an online round, which I passed. In the second round, the interviewer seemed to have already decided on someone else. They asked me very few and basic questions, which I answered correctly, but I wasn't selected in the end.

Applied online. A recruiter from Agilsys contacted me the day before the interview process, asking me to attend the next day. I was in Coimbatore, and the interview was in Chennai. They were inflexible about rescheduling and were rude on the call. I had to catch a last-minute bus and was late. Many candidates were present, so we had to wait for PCs to be cleared. Then we had a chance for: 1. Aptitude and English tests (many questions here). 2. Tech Interview. 3. HR Interview.

I applied for a Software Engineer role requiring over 2 years of experience. The interview process wasn't too difficult, and I received an offer. Focusing on fundamental concepts should help you land the job.
