Agilysys Frontend Engineer interviews, decoded.

The first step was an online test. It was a good experience overall. The test format was multiple-choice questions. I felt I knew the material well, and I learned some new things after it. I reviewed the questions they asked.

so the first round is gonna be some mcqs, then the second round is programming where you gotta write some code for a logic, and the third is a technical interview to explain the code you wrote.

I had my first interview with the recruiter, which was really strange. The recruiter told me I wasn't a cultural fit and didn't have enough experience. She also said bad things about her own company, mentioning they play hard and have no work-life balance or remote options. She even advised against taking the job, predicting I would fail. Then I interviewed with the manager, who stated that the role requires working in the Indian time zone and asked if I was okay with traveling to India.
