I had two phone interviews. The first was with the Business Development Manager, who was really nice and easy to talk to. Then I spoke with their manager, who was also very professional and seemed supportive.
So the interview process had like three main stages. First, the recruiter just chatted about my background and had me rate my skills. Then there was an online coding test with 3 problems to solve. The next big part was a panel interview. They asked about my background again, hit me with some technical questions, and then we did a quick whiteboard design problem. Honestly, for the design part, they only cared about the logic for making something gray on the page, not really about optimization or handling user issues. Oh, and the recruiter mentioned a personality test after the panel, but the panel folks said there wasn't one for this role. The whole thing took about a month.
I was contacted by a recruiter and the entire experience, from beginning to end, was very smooth. I really liked the team and felt they were authentic. It wasn't overly bureaucratic, which is a nice change from many companies.
