I communicated via email with the current Creative Director for a while before setting up an interview. The first interview was with the CD and the CEO. The CD said I was his top candidate, but then he said he was just starting to interview others(?). The CEO left during the interview and wanted me to come back the next week to meet more managers and continue the discussion. I followed up multiple times via email, but never heard back. The job was posted again multiple times in the following months, and my attempts to contact the CEO were ignored.
The interview process involved meeting with the team and management. It started with a brief chat about my background, followed by a presentation of my work. During and after the presentation, the team asked questions specifically about my projects and provided feedback and constructive criticism. They also shared insights into their team's workflow and operational methods, and discussed the work environment and overall company culture.
I applied on the agency's website and they reached out for an interview. I went in and met with the Account Services team. They asked me some easy questions about my experience and why I liked advertising. Then I got a tour and they offered me the job to start the next day. The whole process was quick and easy.
