I went through 3 phone interviews and then 1 face to face. The first phone interview was with HR. The second was with the lead developer. The third was with the VP of Engineering. For the face-to-face interview, I met with both the VP and the Lead developer.
HR set up a phone screening interview for me. The HR person wasn't in the interview itself. It felt pretty chill and understanding. The company seems decent enough.
I put in my application online and then got a call from HR about a week later. They did a phone screen and then I came in for an interview. About four days after that, I had a second round interview, and the following week I had a third interview. After meeting with 7 people and waiting three weeks, I got rejected. The receptionists were talking about other candidates loudly, which was unprofessional. I felt like they dragged out the process unnecessarily and interviewed me just to be polite.
