Talked to HR first for a basic check. Then had a pre-screen call scheduled with the hiring manager, but it ended up not happening. The conversation I did have went okay, but I guess the hiring manager wasn't interested.
So, the interview process had 4 parts. First, a recruiter call, then a hiring manager chat, followed by an interview with the team I'd be supervising. The last stage was a panel interview with the Hiring Manager and some of their peers. After all that, I heard nothing back, not even a rejection. I figured they went with someone else, so I sent a thank you note, but still no reply.
