We started with a virtual interview, and then they had me come in for an onsite visit. The onsite was a whole day thing, they even included lunch. The first part of the onsite was a coding test, after that I interviewed with the team. The second part of the onsite was with management, and we finished up the day with HR.
For this remote position, there were 2 initial online rounds. An additional onsite interview was added later. The first interview covered basic background questions. The second interview involved a Replit coding challenge, which was essentially a basic refactoring task. The third interview was onsite and quite informal, consisting of 2 interview rounds, lunch, and a brief tour.
Had a call with the team manager to discuss my previous work. Then, I did a coding exercise with another developer and we talked about a problem they faced and how I'd solve it. Finally, I met with directors and team members in person.
