Started with a recruiter phone call, then a hiring manager chat. Next, had two PM interviews where I worked through case studies. After that, I went into a loop with 6 team members, then another loop with the VP and some stakeholders. Finished with a final chat with the hiring manager. Got a verbal offer followed by the full contracts about 1-2 days later. The whole thing wrapped up in about 2 weeks.
I had an initial 30 minute chat with a recruiter about my background and if I'd be a good fit for Affirm. Then I had a 1:1 with the hiring manager where we discussed the role, my product experience, and how I could contribute to an existing product. After that, there were execution and design rounds, which involved typical questions about how I'd improve a product, my favorite product, and my general product background.
After a phone screen, I had two onsite interviews. Each was with two product managers. The first interview was a case study. The second interview was more behavioral, focusing on my current experience. There wasn't much collaboration during the case study, and it was a bit strange because the second PM was just shadowing and I was supposed to pretend they weren't there. I didn't hear back for a few weeks, so I emailed the recruiter, who then sent an auto-rejection 10 minutes later.
