First there was a recruiter screen. Then, I had a 1.5 hour technical interview over Google Meet with a panel of about six team members. Even though it was called a technical interview, it was mostly behavioral questions about my past experiences, teamwork, and how I tackle testing issues. The team was professional, but the interview felt really long for the questions they asked. Maybe the interview could be shorter or end sooner if they think the candidate isn't a good fit.
The first interview was pretty quick, just a chance to get to know me, my background, education, and any projects I'd worked on. It was cool because they knew my college and we had a good connection. The second interview felt a bit overwhelming with about five people asking a bunch of different questions, but it ended up being really nice because they were super friendly after we chatted for a bit. We had a lot in common, and I actually felt like I wanted to keep talking with them even after the interview.
It started with a chat with HR, then some technical interviews on SQL, optimization, and database design. After that, I had a talk with a manager and another HR chat to make sure I was a good fit and to go over the offer details.
