Candidate-reported interview process

It used to be a 3 part interview: a phone call with another store manager, then a face-to-face meeting with the District Manager (DM), and finally a phone call with the Regional manager. But that has changed. Now, the DM and the VP of Operations interview you. The company has since gone bankrupt.

I spoke with the DM by phone for an interview that lasted over an hour. It felt more like a casual chat than a Q&A, which helped me connect with the DM. After the phone call, I went to the store to meet with the current Assistant Manager.

I went through three rounds of interviews for the Store Manager position. First, I spoke with a recruiter. Then, I had two interviews with the district manager. During these interviews, I was asked about my previous work experience and my motivations for wanting to join Aerosoles. The district manager also focused on my sales background, asking about how I've managed interactions with both customers and staff in various situations.
