2 rounds in total. First, a phone call with a senior engineer about Linux. They paid for my travel to the on-site interview a few days later.
First there was a telephonic coding round, and then an onsite interview with 5 rounds. In one of the onsite rounds, I was asked to write code in any language. I chose Java 8, but the interviewer didn't understand it and asked me to switch to Java 5. I questioned this, given the initial instruction to use any language, which seemed to anger him. He behaved weirdly, and I performed poorly in that round because of it. I did well in the other rounds, but ultimately wasn't selected.
The hiring process was straightforward and simple. The HR department is quite efficient. I've spoken with three people so far, and one of them was the hiring manager.
