The interview process moved pretty fast, and it had about five or six stages. One stage was a role-play with two managers who weren't my direct manager. They offered some help during the role-play, so you didn't need to be an expert on a product you don't currently sell.
So, I started with a phone screening, then had a video interview with the hiring manager, and then another video chat with someone else on the team. Each of these interviews was spaced about two weeks apart. The whole process was kind of rough because the recruiter who first reached out just kind of vanished mid-way through. Also, I got a weird vibe that they weren't really into hiring people from different backgrounds, which was a bit of a red flag for me.
I had two online interviews via Microsoft Teams back-to-back, one with the NA Director and the Ireland Director, plus the Onboarding person from Chicago. Right after, the Chicago director reached out for a quick connect/feedback, but then I was ghosted and got a generic rejection email the next morning. I was really confused and disappointed because they had built me up, saying the interviews went well, only to send a generic rejection with no feedback or courtesy. I'm disappointed they communicated well initially but then avoided the tough conversations. They should do better.
