Candidate-reported interview process

First, a call with talent acquisition. Then, a 1st technical round focusing on ML concepts for a quick knowledge check. The 2nd round was technical, presenting a case study and asking more technical questions. The 3rd round was with the Director, covering technical aspects and system design. Finally, the 4th round was behavioural with the VP.

The interview process was pretty standard for Data Science roles, with 5 rounds total. It included one take-home test, three technical interviews focusing on ML/stats/python and project discussions, and a final non-technical chat with the US-based Data Science head about my interests and potential contributions. I got through 4 rounds, and then had the final discussion. Despite feeling it went well, I was rejected afterwards. I asked HR for feedback but got no response, which is disappointing after investing so much time and effort.

Their evaluation metric is really flawed, because they require candidates to solve 10th grade probability and statistics problems by hand first. Passing this written part is necessary.
