Candidate-reported interview process

I dealt with a third-party recruiter initially. It was a disorganized experience; the role never seemed to transition to American Express. I had to send multiple emails to get any kind of response. They set up an interview, but nobody showed up. I then had to follow up again via email. Overall, it felt like a waste of my time.

Interview felt like hazing. The interview was 3 hours long! I kid you not! They made us do mock phone calls in the interview. Looking back I can’t believe I went through with it.

It was quick and simple, they first went over my background. Then we went over some problem solving questions.
