Candidate-reported interview process

The team was really prepared with questions and were excellent listeners. They were super clear about the job's responsibilities, chances for advancement, and how people before have succeeded in the role.

The interview process was pretty standard, with 3 rounds total. I spoke with HR, a partner from the current team, and the hiring manager. It all took about 2 weeks, and I got the offer in week 3.

met the team, supervisor, HR and head of editorial. did not do any edit test but had body of work to reference. this was pre-pandemic, they were stricter on WFH and on salary - and ultimately had to decline offer for those reasons, and uncertainty about senior leadership direction on the business side.
