I applied online and then got an email about a 30-minute phone interview. The phone interview went great, and the interviewer was really nice. She asked me all the standard questions you see on here. Next, I had a 90-minute writing assignment and an in-person interview with a case study. I'll share more after I finish.
The interview started with a recruiter phone call where they asked typical behavioral questions, plus why I chose my majors and university. Then, I had an onsite interview in DC. This consisted of 3 rounds, each with a behavioral question and a case study. The interviewers were really helpful if I got stuck, and it's super important to ask questions and understand case interviews. Knowing about healthcare would be helpful for creativity, but not essential, as two cases were healthcare-focused but they cared more about strategy than knowledge. The people were awesome and easy to talk to, making it feel like a conversation.
The hiring process was pretty frustrating because the recruiters were really slow to respond to anything. Also, they sent me some reading material way before my first interview, which I didn't actually need until the final in-person round. I hadn't even looked at it since the first interview. On the plus side, everyone I talked to was super nice and seemed genuinely invested in my success. It just wasn't the right fit for me.
