I first spoke with a recruiter. After that, I had an in-person panel interview with three people: the director, the nurse manager, and a nurse from the unit.
After applying online, I got an email for a phone interview with HR about 2 weeks later. This was followed by an in-person interview for the NICU position. I interviewed with two leaders for about an hour. They asked a lot of questions, and I could tell they were really focused on my personality and if I'd be a good fit for the team, not just my experience or knowledge. I got an offer the very next day.
The interview process was straightforward, expectations were set and scheduling questions were asked. Not much to it, the manager was kind. Scheduling for PRN was 2 days a week per manager but hospital required 1 shift every week or 4 shifts in 4 weeks
