The interview and hiring process at AdventHealth was well-organized and very welcoming. The HR team was professional, prompt, and clear, which helped take the stress out of the process. My interview with leadership felt more like a conversation than an interrogation—they took time to get to know me and made me feel comfortable. After receiving the offer, I appreciated how smoothly onboarding was outlined, and how quickly I received my start date and next steps.
The interviewer was late and hadn't read my resume but seemed interested. I felt good about it, but the shadowing day was a disaster. The transport team was complaining about nurses, and the person I shadowed argued with the charge nurse. A radiologist made fun of a mentally ill patient and everyone laughed. I won't be taking the job.
First, there's a phone call with the recruiter. After that, you'll have either a video interview or an in-person meeting with the nurse. It's pretty straightforward, with basic questions. If you get nervous for interviews, I promise I felt at ease the whole time. Everyone was really welcoming!
