I went through 3 rounds of interviews: one with 2 managers, a peer interview, and the unit manager interview. I also did a shadow shift. The interview process was really thorough. The team genuinely wanted to make sure it was a great fit.
The process was pretty straightforward. Even though there were a good number of interviews, I liked that they were serious about finding the right person. Here's how it went: First, a 30-minute phone chat with the recruiter. Then, a 30-minute virtual interview with the hiring manager. After that, a virtual interview with the Executive Director and the Director of Project Management. Finally, a virtual interview with the CMO. They sent the offer letter after that. It sounds more nerve-wracking than it was, honestly. Everyone I talked to was super nice and friendly. They knew what they were looking for and how employees should be treated. The company's culture is amazing.
The interview involved a phone call and then an onsite visit. I met with the recruiter, the nurse manager, and some of the staff nurses. They also showed me around the unit where I would be working. Everyone was really nice and helpful during the whole process.
