I had a really bad onsite interview experience with a Goldman Sachs recruiter. She showed up late, talked down to me, and cut our 30-minute chat short to just 15 minutes because she had another meeting. I found the lack of professionalism and respect for my time unacceptable. Recruiters should be on time, respectful, and attentive during interviews to make the candidate experience better.
I had an initial call with Kara from Advantage, who is a recruiter. After that, I interviewed with the Goldman Sachs team. I felt the interview went pretty well, though Kara didn't seem to know a lot about the role itself as she was just from the recruiting company. The Goldman Sachs team appeared quite friendly.
The first couple of rounds were fine, but I struggled a bit in the later ones. They seemed to be looking for someone with significantly more experience, like over 10 years. Overall, though, it felt like it went okay.
