It was a multiphase interview process. The first step was a panel interview, which was a pretty standard formal interview. Then there was a lunch meeting, a one-on-one with a manager, and that was much more casual. Overall, the process felt pretty typical compared to other interviews I've had across different industries.
The interview process starts with an initial phone screening, followed by 2-3 rounds of small panel interviews, depending on the specific position. The questions are mostly behavioral and about fit. For higher-level positions, experience and functional/technical skills are weighed more heavily. The hiring timeline is very flexible and depends on the project pipeline and your specific skillset in relation to it. Some people get hired very quickly, within 2 weeks, while others can take up to a year. My own process took 6 months from applying to starting the job.
It was a good process. They really wanted to know what I wanted to do and asked behavioral questions. There was a phone interview and then a panel interview. I thought it was a fair process.
