Quick phone screen, then face to face with recruiter. Then Operations Manager interview. Very professional and fast.
It was an average, old-school hiring process. Lots of placement tests and multiple interviews. The office itself seemed okay, though a bit run-down. Most employees weren't wearing masks and weren't socially distanced, which felt a bit irresponsible during the pandemic. The recruiter was nice, but the HR director came across as condescending. They offered no benefits and low pay, so I'd avoid this place.
I talked to HR first, but they didn't know anything about the job and couldn't answer my questions. Then I did some personal and intelligence tests. It was frustrating because I never got to talk to anyone who actually understood the role or the company's goals, so I couldn't even figure out if I wanted the job.
