I had a first interview with the hiring manager where we went over typical interview questions and they told me about the company and the roles. Then, I had a second interview that was 30 minutes long with two of the supervisors.

Basically, the software engineer interview process is a multi-step thing. First, you apply. Then they look at your resume. After that, there are technical tests, like coding challenges. Then, you might have a phone or video chat. Next up are more technical interviews, either in person or online. They also do behavioral interviews to see how you fit. Finally, if all goes well, you'll get to offer negotiations. It's all about checking your tech skills, how you solve problems, and if you're a good cultural fit.
