The interview process had two parts. The first was an on-campus interview that included behavioral questions, a simple digital logic question, and a simple coding question. The second interview was on-site at HQ. There were no behavioral questions in this round. It involved a whiteboard coding question. You also got a nice campus tour and a lunch on the beautiful campus.
It was a pretty straightforward interview process. Started with an on-campus interview covering fundamental C++ concepts like inheritance and polymorphism. Then, I had two onsite interviews, both focused heavily on basic data structures and algorithms. I got an offer pretty quickly, within a week of interviewing. It was a good experience overall. Oh, and they provided lunch, which was nice.
I first looked into Adtran via my school's co-op program. I had an initial interview with three employees at my school. A few weeks later, I visited the company headquarters. We spent the day touring different departments and had interviews mixed in. I was offered the job over the phone.
