Candidate-reported interview process

I went through three rounds of interviews which I felt went really well, but then I never heard back. It felt like a waste of time, especially since the director kept calling my personal phone to assure me I was a top candidate.

I talked to two managers about my management experience and what I know. They took turns asking me stuff about customer service, the mailroom, and how I deal with employees. They also asked about my previous jobs and what I did in those roles.

I got recommended for the job. I was interviewed and got hired and then I went through the new hire screening, and after that I started my first day. The management kept me in the loop and communicated well throughout the whole process.
