several interviews, first an HR one on the phone then the next one with the manager then a practical case with about a week's deadline with several deliverables to make on a made-up project to put yourself in the situation. Some pretty basic questions.
The interview process was easy and they got back to me quickly. The interview felt very casual. There was a second phone interview, which was also very casual. We did not talk about many job specifics.
I went through three interviews over a few weeks, each one taking 30 minutes to an hour. I put a lot of effort into preparing and talking with the team, and they seemed responsive at first! But after the last interview, I heard nothing back – not even a rejection. It's unprofessional to ghost candidates after multiple interviews, and it makes the company look bad in terms of communication and respect for people's time. Even if someone isn't selected, basic politeness is important. I hope they get better at handling the candidate experience.
