The interview process was good overall, but it felt quite lengthy and could have been shorter. It took a long time, and I wasn't entirely sure why. There were many questions, and not all of them seemed relevant. A lot of what was asked had already been covered in the application, so it felt repetitive.
So basically, I had an initial chat where we went over my background and what I'm capable of. After they felt good about me, they gave me a little assignment where I had to come up with some ways to make their homepage better and also design a few social media graphics. My second interview was pretty much me presenting this assignment. It felt like it went okay, but in the end, they went with someone else.
The interview process was really enjoyable. Everyone I interacted with seemed genuinely friendly and approachable, and the project assigned was also quite engaging. It felt like the team was not in a rush and really wanted to understand my thought process. I would definitely consider reapplying if the opportunity arose.
