Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process was quite long, spanning 3 weeks with 3 interviews in total. The final interview was in-person and lasted about 2 hours. The people I met were very nice and I interviewed with 3 different individuals.

I started here as a temp in Quality, doing LIMS programming, data entry, and some analysis. After 4 months, they offered me a permanent position. The interview was straightforward and brief. I'd previously experienced a lot of 'stress test' interviews, so this one felt like a welcome change. I've had other temp jobs too. This interview was a nice break.

It's a thorough process. You'll have a phone screen with the Hiring Manager, followed by two interviews. The first is with the Hiring Manager, and the second is with internal customers and Department Heads. Depending on the seniority level, the second interview might take several hours. During the phone screen, make sure to ask a lot of questions about the role itself, and be ready, as always, to link your background to what's written in the job description.
