The HR person was really nice and very direct. I don't remember her name, and I didn't stay long because managing my personal life was tough, but it was a great experience overall.
I had a phone interview, then went into the office for a presentation and a final interview. The office looked old and the employees seemed unhappy. After the presentation and a tour, they said I'd hear back in 3-4 days. I didn't hear anything until I reached out weeks later for feedback. The HR person acted like I shouldn't have asked and implied I missed an email that was never sent. Communication is really important, especially now. I wouldn't take the job even if offered because they weren't professional. Companies should let people know when they aren't moving forward, especially after we put in work on presentations or assessments. A quick email would be appreciated.
I'm still in the middle of the hiring process but feeling pretty optimistic. I've seen a lot of reviews, and I'm trying not to let them get me down. What's really important to me is a company that offers good training and where I can get help from my supervisors when I need it.
