Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process started with a recruiter screening, followed by an interview with a QA engineer where basic STAR questions were asked. The next round involved an interview with a Senior QA engineer and the QA Lead, which included STAR questions (30mins), a System design-ish question (20mins), and a coding test (framework choice available). Although I was rejected after round 3, the recruiter provided valuable feedback. All interviewers were respectful, and I enjoyed the communication. My background didn't perfectly match this specific role, but I'd be keen to apply again if a more suitable position arises.

The interview process followed the job description. It started with a call with HR for an introduction and a deep dive into the company. Next were core Java questions, ranging from easy to medium difficulty. This was followed by a live coding session and a system design interview. The final round was a culture fit/behavioral interview with the Director. The HR team was really helpful throughout, offering tips and advice, and genuinely wanted me to succeed. Despite not getting an offer, I had a great experience and a positive impression of the company. The HR team was very professional.

The interview process was split into two main stages. First, there was an HR round where we had a quick chat about the job and my profile. Then, an onsite interview that lasted about two hours. During the onsite, they really dug into operating systems, specifically processes and threads, storage, and the JVM. There was also a Leetcode medium problem to solve.
