Adap.tv Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

The interview involved multiple rounds with people from different teams, mostly managers giving their perspectives. Senior management made the final decision based on manager reviews. The managers were professional and asked intellectual questions. The HR round was straightforward.

It started with a phone interview that had a quick coding problem online. After that, there were 4 interviews at their campus in San Mateo. One interview was with the HR manager, and the other 3 were with professionals. One engineer asked a theoretical question, but the other two asked me to solve a problem on a whiteboard.

So, first I had this programming assignment to do, then there were about three to four phone interviews. We did the phone interviews whenever was good for me. It was pretty chill, the interviewers were nice and all in all it was a good experience. They asked me some pretty deep questions about the project I'm currently working on.
