I had a phone call with the office manager. She asked me about my background in ophthalmology and optometry. We also went over some situational questions, and she inquired about the various ophthalmic equipment I've used.
I had a 30-minute screening call with the recruiter. Then, I had a 30-minute video interview with the COO, who is the direct hiring manager. After that, I was ghosted despite following up with the recruiter.
It's hard to know what you're getting into at first. It seems alright until you go through the interview steps. Once you're done, you realize what you've signed up for. There should be a better way to do this.
