The interview process was pretty straightforward and didn't take long. It was about two weeks from when I applied to when I got the interview, and then another week to hear back after it was done. They seemed to like that I arrived early. It was very pleasant and professional.
The interview process started about two weeks after my application. They hold these big group interviews, and I was in a group of about 30-40 people interviewing for 15-20 open spots. It felt pretty intense with so many people applying. I got a job offer a week after the interview. They mainly wanted to see if we were serious about the role and not just gamers looking for an easy gig.
So after you get approved for their interview process, like me and maybe 40 other people, we all go into a screening process where we're tested on what we would do in certain situations. It also included a video game testing test, where we had to write down what we found wrong with the video game. The test isn't hard. If you've played games over the years, you know how things should look. There are lots of obvious glitches and imperfections in the test they give you.
