Candidate-reported interview process

I had 3 phone calls for the interview. First was with HR, then a manager, and finally the director. The manager and director interviews were technical. They asked about my projects, linear algebra, and my favorite software packages. One interviewer asked about my favorite math course and why. The last interviewer asked if I wanted an on-site interview, I said yes, but then didn't hear back.

First, a recruiter screens you. Then there are 2-3 early rounds, followed by a super day with 5-6 interviews. Each interview is 30 minutes to 1 hour long. The whole process spans a couple of months and includes a mix of behavioral questions, experience-based questions, industry knowledge questions, and some light technical questions, specifically in Excel.

I applied online and then was contacted by a hiring coordinator. For about a month, I had a weekly interview with someone from the team. I got to the final round of interviews, but then they told me they had selected another candidate. I didn't get any feedback.
