Candidate-reported interview process

I applied and was contacted within a few days. My first chat was with someone in the same role, who explained the basic tasks and asked personality-focused questions. Then I met with the CEO. His interview style was intense and the questions were challenging, but it felt more conversational than like an interrogation.

A few days after I applied, I got an email inviting me for an interview. First, I talked with the Marketing Manager, and then with the CEO. The Marketing Manager had a list of questions that touched on my background and my career aspirations. She also gave me the chance to ask her questions, which was great for understanding the role and the company. The CEO's interview was more like a casual chat. He asked about my enthusiasm for the company and the job, basically wanting to see if I'd be happy and passionate about the work.

Shortly after applying for the marketing associate job, I got contacted by the office coordinator for a first interview scheduled for the next week. The first interview included questions about my work history and experience, and also a chat about how I'd fit into the company culture. This chat got me thinking about my career goals and if the job was truly for me. After a follow-up email, I asked to come back for a second interview, where I met with people from the marketing and consulting teams. All in all, the interview process was unconventional, but in a good way. Once I came in for the second interview, I knew I liked the job and the company!
