I spoke with the recruiter, Kia, who was really nice and gave me a lot of good info. Then I met with the VP of Sales (who I think isn't there anymore) and she was very honest about what working there is like, setting expectations. The last interview was supposed to be with a COO or Senior VP, but they said he was at least two weeks out. Since I was already in the middle of interviewing with another company and got an offer, I had to let ACI know not to bother with the final round.
First, I had a chat with a recruiter, which was great. I felt like I explained my interest and fit for the role well. The recruiter even followed up with answers to my questions via email, which was a nice touch. The second interview was with the direct manager, but it was a bit of a letdown. There were a lot of distractions, and they didn't seem very engaged, almost like I was just a formality. We got to the questions part pretty quickly, and I felt like I asked more than they did. It seemed like they had a lot going on. The day after, I got a feedback request, and then a rejection the day after that.
I had a short phone call with a recruiter, and then another with an Executive in PE Sales who was in charge of the buyout process. Both were about 30 minutes long. The executive didn't engage much about my experience, since I don't know the responsibilities yet. It seemed like they weren't really interested, especially since they rescheduled multiple times, and I felt like they were just wasting my time.
