I was given a take-home task, and they said I'd have a second interview, but then I didn't hear back. Weeks later, they sent an email asking me to interview for the same job, which was a mistake, lol.
The entire process took about three months and involved three rounds of interviews, plus a surprise interview that happened after what I thought was the final round. I had one phone screening, a technical assignment, and two Zoom calls. Many questions were like case studies. The 'surprise' interview focused more on my motivations for leaving my current role and discussing an achievement.
The interview process felt a bit impersonal, with a structured format that lacked spontaneity. However, the interviewer was welcoming and created a comfortable environment by focusing on straightforward, relevant questions about my background and experience.
