I interviewed with the Director of Account Executives, then with the Chief Revenue Officer. The CRO said the Director would update me on next steps within a week. I ended up following up after 3.5 weeks, but didn't hear back. While I get if they went with someone else, I think it's important to communicate, especially when you say you'll progress candidates. Clear communication, even to say it's over, would've been nice and is expected.
So the tech assessment was 2 hours long and it was timed. Just make sure you read the job description carefully because they really want you to know Javascript if they say so. The assessment was only Javascript/Typescript, so if those aren't your main languages for the job, you should definitely study up!
The initial and only step was an online coding assessment. It was a 4-part test, with a time limit of 2 hours. You should definitely practice algorithms and do a lot of coding exercises, like on CodeWars, if you're aiming for a job here. The platform they use has unit tests that check your code. Heads up: Not all unit tests run until you submit your work. Be sure to add your own tests. Make sure to handle unexpected data types properly. It's a good idea to set up a separate IDE for coding because the web editor they provide isn't great.
