The interview process was lengthy. I had to wait an hour before the two-hour interview. They asked typical HR questions. It felt pointless because it seemed like they had already decided to hire someone else. They didn't ask anything about my past experience. They mostly talked at me instead of having a conversation.
The interview process was pretty simple. I did an editing project first, and then I met with the editorial team. They were really nice and welcoming and asked some good questions.
I reached out to a VP about a content writer job, and we scheduled a video call within 3 days. During the call, we discussed the role, and she then gave me an assignment involving editing some problems from a few problem sets. She asked me to limit my work to an hour, which I did. After sending her the edited document and following up, she responded within 24 hours, saying she was impressed with the first problem. She mentioned it was on her to-do list but got sidetracked by a meeting. Since then, I haven't heard anything, and it's been over a month since our video chat.
