It was a good process, very friendly and informative. It did drag on a bit though because I had to do another DBS check. My update service was already at the highest level, so the extra check wasn't really needed.
I was met by a staff member and taken into the office. Because the interviewer was running late, the staff member told me about the job and the residents. They made an inappropriate comment about my looks, saying a resident would like me because I'm pretty. They also asked my age and reacted negatively, calling me 'young.' The manager then interviewed me, with the staff member present and other staff coming in and out, which felt disrespectful. I felt judged in the environment and was told I'd hear back soon, but it's been over a month with no response, not even to say I didn't get the job.
The interview process was interesting and with no pressure. The recruitment process took a while but the interview process was friendly, no pressure and the interviewers were easy to talk to.
