Candidate-reported interview process

I took a paper test, and since I applied for the Android engineer position, they asked questions about Android development and some behavior questions. The interviewers were nice and friendly.

I was given a code sample to complete and then I met with all their staff. After a long wait, I met with their boss. They made it seem like I already had the job after the interview and that I performed really well. So they brought me back in for a second time. Honestly, it felt really deceptive. About a week after that, they told me I didn't get the job and just moved on with other candidates. This whole interview process was the most deceptive I've experienced so far.

I had a chat with two supervisors, and then one of them rang me up about a week later. He let me know they were going to hire me and told me the salary. I said thanks and asked for a bit of time to think about the job, and he was cool with that.
