I went to a hiring event and did a group interview with other people. The recruiters were professional and asked simple behavioral questions. They gave me a job offer right then and there and I started onboarding at the event.
It was an initial chat with the recruiter, who wasn't super familiar with the new role. Apparently, the position was created to ensure the company meets OSHA compliance. They asked about my past experience in safety and the industries I've worked in.
The first interview is over the phone and includes basic questions about your past work, the position you want, and your available work days and hours. If the job you applied for is taken, they will ask if you are interested in another job.
