Candidate-reported interview process

We started with a phone screen with a manager, where they asked some general questions. The next interview was with team members and was more technical, covering different programming languages and education background.

I first talked to a manager. Then I was given a Coderbyte code challenge. The challenge had multiple choice questions about programming concepts (mostly OOP) and two LeetCode-style coding problems. I had 5 hours to complete it. After that, they would have invited me for an onsite interview, but I didn't get that far.

I applied online, the application was pretty straightforward. About three weeks later, a recruiter called to schedule an interview with someone, who I think was a software engineer, though they never actually stated their role. The call lasted maybe 15 minutes or less. It felt like they weren't super invested in me or my background, and didn't seem to have looked into my profile beforehand, just reading from a prepared list of questions that seemed tailored to the job.
