The interview started with a recruiter screening call. After that, I got a take-home assignment. The assignment involved making an account on their platform and then answering support tickets and writing knowledge base articles. They specifically told me to add my own personality to the ticket responses, not just copy-paste from the help center. Unfortunately, I got rejected a few days later because they said I didn't copy-paste enough from their knowledge base, which seemed contradictory to their earlier instructions.
The HR screening was scheduled for 15 minutes but ended up running for 30 minutes. My interview time options were very limited and ended up being very early in the morning (before 6 am) in my time zone. During the call, it seemed my basic application details had not been fully reviewed. I then moved on to a one-hour interview with a director. The interview setting was noticeably informal, as the interviewer was on a couch and dressed very "comfortably", leaving me questioning if I was genuinely being considered from the start. I was told it would involve a panel interview with a presentation. When I asked about the presentation’s focus, I was told the details were not even developed yet.
The interview process involved a 3-hour take-home assignment. You had to create an account on their system, and deleting it afterwards was a hassle. After submitting, I was ghosted and got no feedback. It felt like a waste of time, though I guess they got a new "user".
