Candidate-reported interview process

This company really wastes your time. The HR people are super unprofessional with responding between rounds. After I finished a case study that took over 3 hours, I got a congratulatory email, but then heard nothing back for weeks. When I followed up, they said they weren't actually hiring VPs right now. It's crazy they'd make me do the case study and interview me if they weren't planning to hire. They didn't even call to tell me this or treat me like a person. I can't imagine working here. The hiring manager never responded either. Really unprofessional and tacky.

It was a campus placement interview process. There were 2 rounds in total. My resume was briefly discussed. Both rounds were held online using Zoom. The difficulty was average.

Got ghosted after thinking the first chat with the recruiter went well. Looking back, I think he was just fishing for salary info from my current company. Anyway, it was pretty distasteful that they stopped responding after his sales pitch about how communicative they'd be. I'd say take calls with this company with a grain of salt and be careful what you share.
