Candidate-reported interview process

I had two interviews, first with HR and then a technical one. They were really looking for engineers and were not too picky, though they specifically wanted a bridge engineer and my experience there was a bit light. I've done civil jobs and some bridge projects here and there.

I found the company through a job board and an agency contacted me. I had two phone calls and one in-person interview. During the in-person, they assessed my engineering knowledge, my availability and willingness, and my teamwork skills.

I had my interview in Sydney during the first week of November 2021 for a graduate civil engineer role. The Operations Manager and an HR Manager interviewed me on a Wednesday. By the following Monday, I got a call saying I was selected, followed by reference checks, a police check, and a pre-employment medical.
