Academy of Art University Executive Assistant interviews, decoded.

I started with a phone screening, then had an online skills test. After that, I had a formal HR interview via Skype. This was followed by an in-person AAU-wide Admin interview. Finally, I interviewed with four different Academic departments.

I sent in my application online and then got a call from HR about a week later. After that, they set up an in-person interview for me within a month. The interview process took place over a few days in SF and involved talking to HR and then Student Affairs.

Applied on linkedin. Got rejected the first time, but then they called me about a job that was a better fit. Had a short and easy phone interview. After that, I had a second interview with the head of HR, which was also very easy and mostly driven by my questions. If I'm chosen from the applicant pool, I'll have a third interview with the direct supervisors this week.
