Candidate-reported interview process

I was contacted on LinkedIn about a full stack software engineer position. The recruiter scheduled a 20-minute phone call to go over the role and company details. We talked about the engineering teams and what they're working on. I asked her some questions. She asked about my main strengths as a developer and if I'd consider moving to San Francisco. The chat was pretty chill. She mentioned she'd pass my info and notes to the manager and get back to me early next week about the next step, which would be another interview or a coding challenge.

We had to do a real-world project live, and different people would hop in every hour to help. After that, they asked typical theory questions about data structures and runtime.

It was a full day of interviewing, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. I had 3.5 hours to complete a small coding project. Then there was 1 hour of algorithmic questions, 1 hour of system design, and 2 hours of meeting with the co-founders. Overall, it felt like a great culture with an academic vibe. They also have great catered food delivered daily.
