I had a casual chat with the executive director, and they showed me around the place. After that, Dan asked me to come back another day to meet some of the staff and I got to watch a group session. The site uses a lot of Motivational Interviewing, REBT, and ideas from 12 Step and SMART recovery. Knowing about these would be super helpful.
It was great, interviewer was open and warm. I felt very comfortable talking to her. She told me everything I needed to about the position and what to expect from the company.
I met with the Director of Case Management first, had a formal interview with her. She was friendly and inviting, and wonderful to talk to. After about a half hour, I was directed to sit down with the Executive Director and had another half hour interview with him. He was very inviting, down to earth, and made it very clear what he was looking for in an employee.
