The first interview was a phone screen with an engineer. We talked a lot about my past projects, and she asked about my experience with group projects and handling conflicts. Then, she asked some technical questions she had prepared.
It started with a phone screen with the recruiter, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, followed by an interview with the team lead. The final stage was an on-site panel interview and a tour. Everything was going well until the on-site and panel interview, which felt pretty intense.
A headhunter reached out to me on LinkedIn. I had a phone screen with them, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and another team member. One of the interviewers was confrontational and disagreed with me, but I was able to explain my reasoning and they eventually conceded. The headhunter then gave me some unconstructive and harsh feedback, which I don't think was intended for me to see. This company seems like a mess, and the reviews confirm it. Glad I didn't end up working there.
